Magic of Fall – Fall Pumpkins and Floral Hinting at a Little Bit of Disney Magic

I’m not going to lie. One of my favorite times of year at a Disney theme park is fall. Main Street USA is adorned with pumpkins and beautiful fall swags. When I saw this bit of art, it evoked all the emotion of when I enter Magic Kingdom on a fall day. .

As I write this, I can almost smell pumpkin and cinnamon wafting through the air. It’s perfect for a rainy afternoon. I saw the original artwork knew I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT. I’ve held onto it for a while but finally went ahead and purchased commercial use so I can share it with my blog readers.

When converting watercolor artwork into cross stitch patterns, I know it was important to consider the level of detail and intricacy to ensure that the essence of the original artwork was preserved. Additionally, the choice of color palette and the number of thread shades can greatly impact the final results, so I created the designs each using two sizes of stitch counts, as well as different number of colors of DMC threads used.

It’s fascinating to witness the transformation of a two-dimensional artwork into a three-dimensional textured piece through the art of cross stitching.
