Not So Scary Halloween – Hints Disney Magic
If you’re a huge Disney fan like myself, you may already know that Disney holds Halloween parties in the parks during the fall. They are sooo much fun. Getting to dress up and go Trick or Treating at Disney World is pure magic even as an adult.
I’ve been lucky enough to get to attend two of these parties — titled “Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.” When I saw this design, this reminded of that party…and I knew I just had to make a design of it. It’s just a touch of spooky with hints of Disney magic.
As I write this, I am thinking of the last one I attended with my two sisters. My younger sister is about to start a 26-week round of chemo for an aggressive form of breast cancer. Somehow, working on this design late at night when I couldn’t sleep brought me a little peace. I have purchased commercial use so I can share it with my blog readers. It’s a magical win/win for everyone!

When converting watercolor artwork into cross stitch patterns, I know it was important to consider the level of detail and intricacy to ensure that the essence of the original artwork was preserved. Additionally, the choice of color palette and the number of thread shades can greatly impact the final results, so I created the designs each using two sizes of stitch counts, as well as different number of colors of DMC threads used.
It’s fascinating to witness the transformation of a two-dimensional artwork into a three-dimensional textured piece through the art of cross stitching.
